CBN restricts BVN phone number changes to once in a lifetime to curb fraud

The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has introduced new restrictions on the country’s Bank Verification Number (BVN) system, limiting how often Nigerians can change the phone numbers linked to their banking identity, BVN, to just once in a lifetime.
