JOHANNESBURG - The Democratic Alliance has named Khathutshelo Rasilingwane as it's Ekurhuleni mayoral candidate ahead of the upcoming local government elections.
The former City of Ekurhuleni MMC for Community Safety said she was ready to lead the fight to get Ekurhuleni working again.
“I stand here with deep gratitude that the Democratic Alliance has seen something in me. Not perfect. But a heart dedicated to rebuilding this city and making it more prosperous for everyone.”

 She urged Tshwane residents to join the fight in taking their city back. 
“For clean and competent governance. For affordable and reliable basic services. For a growing local economy that attracts investment and creates jobs,” she said.
