The Economic Freedom Fighters begins its 3-day elective conference at the Nasrec Expo Centre in Johannesburg on Friday.

JOHANNESBURG - The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) in Tshwane have rejected claims that they are implicated in alleged tender fraud.
Evidence presented before the Madlanga Commission has linked the EFF and ActionSA to alleged tender manipulation in the city.
Police officer Fannie Nkosi testified before the commission that Tshwane Metro Police Department (TMPD) deputy chief Umashi Dhlamini compiled a list of seven preferred companies for a contract.

Nkosi says EFF members gave him the list.
But EFF Tshwane caucus leader, Obakeng Ramabodu, disputed these claims, saying there is no leader of the EFF who has sent a list to anyone.
Ramabodu challenged those making the allegations to provide proof.
“We have never met and discussed the list. We are sitting here with our souls clear. We do not know anything,” he said.
