JOHANNESBURG - The Weather Service is warning of severe rainfall across multiple provinces.  
KwaZulu-Natal and Mpumalanga residents are warned of severe downpours that may cause flooding and strong winds that could result in infrastructure damage.

A Yellow Level 4 warning is in place in these provinces. Some Gauteng residents could experience the same.
A Level 2 warning has been issued for the province, along with the North West and Free State.
Meanwhile, extremely high fire danger conditions are expected in the Northern Cape.
